Bill Brice, CEO

Bill founded AlphaTrust Corporation in 1999 to capitalize on a sustained, long-term shift from paper-based document processes to fully electronic document processes. A noted entrepreneur, Bill is considered one of the industry “pioneers” and is a leading world authority on electronic and digital signatures. His expertise in electronic signatures is centered around their applicability to particular work processes, transaction types, and risk/reward analysis.

Bill began his career while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, from which he received his BBA. In 1978, Bill co-founded Brice Foods. As Chairman and CEO, he grew the company into a global enterprise best known for its chain of “I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt!” stores. This enterprise quickly expanded to 1,500 franchise locations in 43 countries, with manufacturing operations on four continents.

In 1995, Bill received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the International Franchise Association, the leading trade organization for franchisers worldwide. Among other accomplishments, Bill designed leading-edge computer information systems for operations, manufacturing, and research and development for Brice Foods. This furthered his interest in combining the capabilities of technology with real-world business needs.

Mike McCurley, SVP Worldwide Sales & Marketing

Mike McCurley is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Marketing for AlphaTrust with global responsibility for sales of AlphaTrust’s leading industry software applications and professional services. Mike has more than 20 years of industry experience in sales, sales management, marketing, operations and technology.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of La Verne and an MBA in marketing from Pepperdine University. He then began his career in the insurance industry, where he held positions in life underwriting and health claims at State Farm Insurance. He also held marketing and market research roles at Fairfax Financial.

Mike came to AlphaTrust from Agencyport Software, where he led global sales across all the company’s applications to insurance customers worldwide. Prior to joining Agencyport, Mike spent several years at Oracle where he led global sales across all Oracle insurance applications, managing sales teams throughout the world.

Mike also spent nearly ten years with Skywire Software and Docucorp International, where he held various key positions, including: sales management, direct sales of software, consulting and business process outsourcing.

Rich Coleman, Director Technology & Support

Rich Coleman is Director of Technology and Support for AlphaTrust. In this role, he oversees all technical products and services. Rich’s background is as an enterprise and Internet software developer with more than 15 years of experience in technical development and client support experience.

Rich is highly skilled in Microsoft technology, having significant expertise in Web 2.0 application development, which he has leveraged to develop and manage the PRONTO^TM Enterprise Platform; in addition to AlphaTrust’s client support systems and information forums. Prior to joining AlphaTrust, Rich spent more than 9 years with several leading companies’ development teams. During this time, his projects focused on web-based applications and Internet commerce systems. Rich has won awards for his work with the auto finance division of CitiGroup Corp., where he successfully developed the company’s Internet and commerce sites.

Slade Kobran, VP Marketing

Slade Kobran is Vice President of Marketing for AlphaTrust with global responsibility for all of the company’s branding, marketing, and public relations initiatives. Slade has more than 25 years experience in growing technology and serviced-based businesses, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rider University.

Prior to joining AlphaTrust, Slade was Chief Marketing Officer of Infogroup, where he transformed an internal advertising department into a strategic marketing organization, supporting the company’s growth initiatives across multiple divisions. Prior to his employment at Infogroup, Slade was Senior Vice President and Director of Global Marketing at Opinion Research Corporation, where he was responsible for developing programs to market the company’s research services in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Earlier in his career, Slade held several executive roles at ADP, including that of Vice President of Marketing, Planning and Business Development for the company’s Time & Labor Management group.
