This Q100027 update is intended to update PRONTO™ Server ERSS 2.6 dated January 13, 2005.

Q100027 Corrections and Additions (since version 2.6 1st Release):

All Editions of PRONTO™ Server ERSS:

1. This patch updates script files to be compatible with Window Server 2003 - Service Pack 1.
2. The product documentation has been updated in the \Docs\ directory.

Enterprise Edition of PRONTO™ Server ERSS:

1. See updated Developer's Guide documentation on the "AuthData" parameter of the AddSigner function (or SIGNER XML element) to require a specific registered user account to be used with a "registered" signature type.

The following are step by step instructions for installing Q100027 PRONTO™ Server ERSS 2.6:

You must have installed PRONTO Server ERSS 2.6 before applying this patch. Downloads of PRONTO Server ERSS 2.6 after January 21, 2005 include these changes.

NOTE: These instructions assume that your PRONTO Server ERSS software was installed on the local C: drive of Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003 in the "C:\AlphaTrust\" directory. If you installed to a different location, change these instructions accordingly.

Conduct these operations when transactions will not be taking place.

1. Log in with Administrator rights.
2. Run the "Q100027.exe" program and specify the root of the drive where PRONTO Server ERSS was installed (i.e. "C:\"). This should cause the new files to over-write the existing files. Make sure there are no errors on the un-zipping of these files.
