dated 12/16/2002, Service Release 2 (SR2) dated 3/12/2003,
and Service Release 3 (SR3) dated 7/21/2003.

Support for using the signer's name in the signer notice e-mail subject line has
been added.
The e-mail subject line in the signer notice and document delivery notice may now
be configured in the ProntoConfig.ini file.
Support for a Hardware License Key (attached to the server parallel port) has been
added.
The product documentation has been updated in the \Docs\ directory.
The following are step by step instructions for installing Q100015 over any Release
of PRONTO Server v2.5:
You must have installed all prior software patches through Q100013.
NOTE: These instructions assume that your Pronto Server was installed on the local C:
drive of your Windows 2000 Server in "C:\AlphaTrust\". If you installed to a different
location, changes these instructions accordingly.
Conduct these operations when transactions will not be taking place.
- Log in as with Administrator rights.
- Stop the following Windows 2000 Services:
- AlphaTrust PRONTO Server Service.
- World Wide Web Service.
- Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) Service.
- IIS Admin Service.
- Check to see that all six PRONTO... COM+ applications are not running
using the Component Services console. If any are running, then right-click on
all Pronto... COM+ applications that are running and
select "Shut Down". This releases these DLLs so they may be overwritten.
- Shut down all "IIS In-Process..." and "IIS Out-Of-Process..." COM+ applications
using the Component Services Console as in step 3.
- Run the "Q100015.exe" program and specify the root of the drive where PRONTO Server
was installed (i.e. "C:\"). This should cause the new files to over-write the
existing files. Make sure there are no errors on the un-zipping of these files.
There should be no file conflicts if all the steps above were followed.
- Look in the "C:\AlphaTrust\Pronto\Programs\" directory. The file "Update_Q100015.txt",
should be present. Updated files will also be in the \Docs\ directory, the
\Setup\Win2000\ directory and the \Setup\Updates\ directory.
- Run the batch file "Update_Q100015.bat" located in the
"C:\AlphaTrust\Pronto\Setup\Updates\Q100015\" directory. The command prompt should say:
"CertMgr succeeded.". This adds a needed root certificate to the localMachine ROOT store.
This is required for the software to function properly.
- IMPORTANT: As of Service Release 4, two new entries has been added to the ProntoConfig.ini
file. If these entries are absent from your ProntoConfig.ini file, please add them:
>
- Open the "C:\AlphaTrust\Pronto\Programs\ProntoConfig.ini" file using Notepad.
- Find the entry for "Temp_Email_Name=" in the "[PRONTO_EMAIL_NOTICE]" section.
- Add the following entries on a new line after "Temp_Email_Name="
Default_Signer_Notice_Subject="Document Signature Request"
Default_Document_Return_Subject="PRONTO Signed Document"
- You may change the text values of these entries as needed for your application. Please
see the documentation for more information.
- IMPORTANT: As of Service Release 4, two entry values have changed in the ProntoConfig.ini
file.
- Open the "C:\AlphaTrust\Pronto\Programs\ProntoConfig.ini" file using Notepad.
- Find the entries for "Subject=" and "Issuer=" in the "[CERT_INFO]" section.
- Change these entries to:
Subject=Pronto
Issuer=Pronto
- Run the batch file "HlmSetup.bat" located in the "C:\AlphaTrust\Pronto\Setup\Win2000\"
directory. This will install needed files and drivers for the Hardware License Module
which will be required going forward.
- Restart the services stopped in step 1 above.
