CEO and Founder Bill Brice started AlphaTrust Corporation in 1998 to capitalize on a sustained, long-term shift from paper-based document processes to fully electronic document processes. Mr. Brice, a noted entrepreneur, is considered one of the industry “pioneers” and is a leading world authority on electronic and digital signatures. His expertise in electronic signature includes their applicability to particular work processes, transaction types and risk/reward analysis. Prior to founding AlphaTrust, Bill did extensive research on the requirements necessary for enforceable, secure online business transactions, including technology, law, risk management, and business processes. Mr. Brice was one of a small group of industry leaders selected to present to the U.S. Congress, when the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) took effect in October 2000.

Mr. Brice began his career while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, from which he received his BBA. In 1978, Bill co-founded Brice Foods. As Chairman and CEO, he grew the company into a global enterprise best known for its chain of "I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt!" stores, growing to 1,500 franchise locations in 43 countries, with manufacturing operations on four continents. In 1995, Mr. Brice was given the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the International Franchise Association, the leading trade organization for franchisers worldwide. Among other accomplishments, Mr. Brice designed leading-edge computer information systems for operations, manufacturing, and research and development for the company. This furthered his interest in combining the capabilities of technology with real-world business needs.

Rich Coleman is an enterprise and internet software developer with over 12 years of experience of technical development and client support experience. Mr. Coleman has lead the R&D and client support organizations for AlphaTrust since 2007. Rich is highly skilled in the Microsoft technology stack with significant expertise in Web 2.0 application development which he has used to develop and manage the PRONTO^TM platform and the company’s client support systems and information forums. Prior to AlphaTrust, Rich spent over 9 years with several companies leading development teams and projects focused on web-based applications and internet commerce systems. Rich won awards for his work with the auto finance division of CitiGroup Corp. where he successfully developed the company’s internet and commerce sites.
