Bill Brice - CEO Noted entrepreneur and CEO Bill Brice founded AlphaTrust Corporation in 1994 to capitalize a sustained, long-term shift from paper-based document processes to fully electronic document processes.

AlphaTrust Corporation, is a privately held company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. AlphaTrust provides comprehensive, easy-to-use document workflow and e-signature solutions that transform paper-based processes into permanent, enforceable and low cost electronic alternatives.

Mr. Brice established his first business at the age of 15. An accomplished software architect and developer, he taught himself computer programming in high school and added to his technical skills while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, from which he received his BBA. In 1978, while still in college, Mr. Brice co-founded Brice Foods.  As Chairman and CEO, he grew the company into a global enterprise best known for its chain of  "I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt!" stores, growing to 1,500 franchise locations in 43 countries, with manufacturing operations on four continents.  In 1995, Mr. Brice was given the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the International Franchise Association, the leading trade organization for franchisers worldwide.  Among other accomplishments, Mr. Brice designed leading-edge computer information systems for operations, manufacturing, and research and development for the company. This furthered his interest in combining the capabilities of technology with real-world business needs.

Following the sale of Brice Foods in 1996, Mr. Brice researched the requirements necessary for enforceable, secure online business transactions, including technology, law, risk management, and business processes, and developed plans for AlphaTrust. Mr. Brice was one of a small group of industry leaders selected to present to the U.S. Congress, when the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) took effect in October 2000.
